How did you become a member:
I was referred by Louella Woodhouse.
The best way to tip me is:
Come see me to buy your face and body products. I guarantee that you will recieve superior quality, and exceptional service. Drug stores and department stores can only provide products at a certain level of activity due to FDA requirements. You will find my products more effective, and competetively priced as compared to over-the-counter alternatives. In addition you will receive comprehensive diagnosis, so you can be assured that you are using the right product for your skin. Money back guarantee!
My best experience at Le Tip La Jolla is:
All of the wonderful people I have met who have helped my business to grow. I couldn't have done it without all of you. I want to thank all of the Le Tip members for supporting me, and for using my products and services over the years.
A little bit about myself:
Aesthetician Par Excellence
I have always been a passionate person. Nothing has ever slowed me down, not for a moment. I graduated from High School at 16 years old, and raced to UC Santa Barbara. At UCSB I studied Anthropology and English Literature, to follow my two great loves, people and reading. I met the love of my life, John, in Santa Barbara, and we moved back to San Diego where he pursued a career in Microbiology, and I in Special Education Teaching.
I received my Masters in Education from Cal State San Marcos, and worked first as a teacher and then as a professor teaching teachers for almost 10 years, but I always felt something was missing... I loved kids, and still do, but I felt drawn to a different kind of education. I wanted to have a career where I was helping people to feel better about themselves, and because of their interaction with me, go off into their lives to do great things.
Shortly after the birth of my son Connor, I decided that in order to make mom and career work together I needed to make some changes. I decided to open my own business doing what I do best, helping people. I went to Aesthetician school at Poway Academy, and opened Surface Esthetics in 2006. Surface has since been a platform for me to educate people about their skin, cause transformation that changes people's perspective on themselves, and create truly meaningful relationships with clients that I am sure will last a lifetime.
Amazingly, I have been well recognized for the work I have done already in this field. Upon graduation from Aesthetic school, I received the prestigious Legacy Scholarship from the International Dermal Institute, founded by Dermalogica. This scholarship is only given to a few people worldwide, and I was able to complete my Post-Graduate Diploma in Aesthetics in two short years. Additionally, I competed and won the Channel 10 A-List competition for Best Facial in San Diego in both 2008 and 2009, beating out EVERY other spa in San Diego. These are huge accomplishments, but my greatest accomplishment is that I have created a career that I love that balances perfectly with the family I love more.
Surface Esthetics is different from other treatment centers. We focus on client education and prescriptive home care that will enhance the results received in the treatment room. We offer rejuvenation, relaxation and skin care for all types of skin issues. We specialize in men's skin care issues as well as prenatal, pregnancy skin care.
