This Week's Meeting

We had thee speakers:

Troy Peets - Troy took this oportunity to educate us a bit in the creation of steel drums. A steel drum begins as a container - of varying materials. One of these was actually a Shell Oil container. Next you beat the bottom of the pan softly with a hammer, for about 7 hours. Then you create the pattern and lines, so you can create notes. The length of drum's side, determines the pitch. To finish off the drum, you have it chromed and voila - 3 weeks later, you have a drum.

James Smith - Born in 1957, fired by the President of the US, and survived 18 hours in the water, after his surveillance P3 (Russia) was forced to crash (2 engine fires), James is now a tow-truck driver. His goal is to assist us in the hour of need, just as he was once assisted. His primary goal is to warn you about not having to be picked up on the side of the road. James always mentions prevention - pay attention. And in case you didn't, call him at his cell phone.

John Rush - John began his business when he was 30. A young art and design guy - who thought he could do the job better than the rest. A short 22 years later, he is still in business, with his original pressman - Tom, and good old Bob. John handles anything having to do with ink on paper. His staff has the technical expertise to handle any situation. He was awarded this year's Torch Award. His committment to excellence surpasses that of any printer, or company you will see.

We had thee showboaters:

John Rush - As you can see, Graphic Communications can produce any type of project that involves - ink on paper. Talk to John, if you want quality.

Nicole Cox- A showboat and a giveaway. Nicole brought in a photo montage of some of the pets she takes care of. She also had a flyer of women-owned pet related businesses.
